# SIMANTU - Sistem Manajemen Pengetahuan

SIMANTU (Sistem Manajemen Pengetahuan) is a knowledge management system for Indonesia's Ministry of Public Works and Housing. It provides a centralized repository for ministry knowledge assets — policies, technical standards, research, and best practices — making institutional knowledge searchable and accessible to ministry staff.

## Key Features

1.  **Knowledge Repository** — Organized library of ministry documents, technical guidelines, and research publications categorized by topic and unit.
2.  **Search & Discovery** — Full-text search across all knowledge assets to help staff quickly find relevant content.
3.  **Content Submission** — Ministry units can submit and publish their own knowledge contributions through a managed workflow.
4.  **Access Control** — Role-based permissions ensure certain documents are accessible only to relevant departments.

## Technology

Built with PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap. The system was designed to handle a large and growing document library while keeping the interface simple enough for non-technical ministry staff to use and contribute to daily.
